LMSD Admits to Collecting More than 55,000
Student Images from Web Cams

The Lower Merion School District in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Administrative officials have acknowledged secretly activating  web cams to record users. The district admittedly collected tens of thousands of images, more than 55,000, from web cams on computers it issued the students.

The ultimate tragedy is the school’s planned execution to commit this privacy invasion.
